What You’ll Get to Do:

• Ensure your team executes at a rapid pace, shipping fast and with high quality.
• Scale back-end services to handle millions of customers, addressing security, data integrity, and performance challenges.
• Guide your engineering team on database structures, architectural decisions, and the overall development approach.
• Navigate through dependencies in a rapid-paced environment.
• Act as an engineering manager, supporting your team hands-on.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the success of your product.
• Conduct technical deep dives and architect the next product development phases.
• Drive product development, anticipating issues and prioritizing velocity and quality.

To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:

• Substantial real experience in back-end engineering and managing back-end services at scale.
• Prior experience in a high-growth tech company.
• Exposure to building and shipping products at scale, especially in the fintech domain.
• A proven track record of managing successful products from ideation to launch and maintenance.
• Ability to assess and address technical risks.
• Experience in facilitating the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
• A solid technical background with hands-on software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
• Skill in working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
