Job Description: Vantage Management Consultancy is seeking a Frontend Developer Intern (NYSC) to contribute to turning their software into easy-to-use products. The intern should have full knowledge of Next.js (TypeScript), extensive know-how of UI Libraries (Next UI or Radix UI), state management (React Query & Context API), and experience using Git and GitHub.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end code for web applications.
- Be involved in a scrum-based team, estimating and planning work according to scrum principles.
- Solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Work to and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design.
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations.
- Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code.
Requirements:
- Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Any previous internship or project experience related to Frontend Development would be beneficial.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of web design and user experience.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for finding innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
