Job Opportunity: Senior React Native Engineer – Mobile

About the Role: Kuda is in search of a result-driven Senior React Native Engineer to join a small team dedicated to building React Native iOS/Android applications for Kuda. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining React Native applications with clean code. If you are a React Native developer with a passion for delivering excellent user experiences, this could be an exciting opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively in a small team to build React Native iOS/Android applications for Kuda.
- Architect, build, and maintain high-quality React Native applications with clean and well-documented code.
- Implement pixel-perfect UI designs and smooth animations to enhance the user experience.
- Integrate third-party APIs and write unit and integration tests.
- Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders via communication tools such as Slack, Zoom, and email.
- Utilize modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, and Google Docs.
- Participate in sprint retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and follow Kuda’s detailed development process.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in writing well-documented, clean JavaScript code.
- Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java is a plus.
- Familiarity with native build tools like XCode and Gradle (Android Studio, Intellij).
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
- Experience with automated testing suites such as Jest or Mocha.
- Ability to take ownership of your work, meeting expectations and delivering quality work.
- Understanding of React Native best practices and commitment to following them.
- Ability to work through new and challenging React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
- Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications.
- Effective communication skills using various media.
- Passion for software development and continuous learning.
